Choreographer Geeta Kapoor (of Sheila Ki Jawani fame) was released at 5 pm today after she was arrested for hitting a biker with her car. She was arrested this morning by the Versova police station.
This incident took place at 5 am. She was released after paying an amount of Rs 10,000 for bail.
“Geeta was arrested at 9 am in an accident case under the sections 279 and 338. She has now been released on bail after paying a penalty of Rs 10,000,” said MA Sawant, Constable, Versova police station.
The biker was admitted at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
